Pacquiao Wins Over Mosley

     At last it's already Pacquiao Vs Mosley fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena May 7, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. After singing the national anthem of the Philippines sang by Charice and the US national anthem by actor/singer Tyrese Gibson an intermission number was introduced for Sugar Shane Mosley's entrance, performed by LL Cool J and Manny's entrance song is "Eye of the Tiger" sang by the lead singer of Survivor Jimi Jamison.

     Now time for the fight, in the 1st round Pacquiao and Mosley touched gloves as a sign of respect. Mosley throw small punches first and Pacquiao responded by a body blow. Pacquiao won the score card on the 1st round. On the 2nd round Manny still dictates the fight then comes round 3 a knockdown coming from Pacquiao's left hand, Mosley stayed down for a couple of seconds thinking what happened. Then Mosley stood up directly and continued the fight.

     After round 3 Mosley hesitates to engage Pacquiao, he grabs Manny when in times of trouble. In the following rounds there are few head butts complained by Mosley. Rounds 4-9 as usual Pacquiao dominates the score cards.

     In round 10 a controversial down by Pacquiao which the referee Kenny Bayless count it as a knockdown by Mosley, after that you can see Pacquiao's frustration for counting him 8 seconds. When the referee starts the fight again Pacquiao was rushing to bring back the round he was worried about the scorecards even if he was leading that match.

     Round 11, Pacquiao was engaging Mosley looking for a knockdown, what Mosley can do is to hang on the ropes and maintain his record as never been beaten by a knockdown. As the bell rang you can see Pacquiao's footwork shifting from left to right, he still wants to continue fighting like a predator hunting its prey, while Mosley was saved by the bell.

     At the last round both boxers hug each other, in this round Mosley grabs Pacquiao to stay up in the ring. After round 12 the fight ended and the fans booed by the outcome of the match, they surely expect an exchange of punches between both boxers and of course a knockdown. Pacquiao won the fight by a unanimous decision Duane Ford: 120-107, Dave Moretti: 120-108, Glenn Trowbridge: 119-108, Manny maintained to be WBO Welterweight champ. In the interview Mosley praises Pacquiao for being the best boxer, while Pacquiao said after the fight he's going back to congress right away to work. After the match he had an after party at Mandalay Bay which he sponsored.
