Microsoft bid $8.5 billion to buy Skype Technologies from Ebay, this is the biggest deal Microsoft have ever encounter in its 36-year long history. The merging of both companies will enhanced Microsoft's communication.
Questions raised why Microsoft wants to buy a company that makes zero profit. Apple, Facebook and Google was said to have negotations with Skype.
If Microsoft successfully bought Skype company it would surely enhance Microsoft in the field of communication, with social networking a booming industry like the popular Facebook and Twitter, Microsoft could think a better strategic plan to use Skype's capabilities in communicating.
